WOW Day is for Everyone
On February 6th, we encourage anyone and everyone to wear their wellies and fundraise for Embrace FARM. In the past, we’ve had fundraisers from:
- Primary & Secondary schools
- Businesses & offices
- Colleges and their ag societies
- Montessori & playschools
- Individuals, and their families & friends
- Community groups
Ideas for WOW Day
Here are some fundraising ideas where you just need some wellies and some company:
- Welly throwing competition – who can hit the target and who can throw their welly the furthest?
- Night out – nothing completes a going-out outfit like a pair of wellies so make sure yours are polished for the pub!
- Classroom or lecture hall – show up with your classmates and fundraise while you’re learning
Wear Your Wellies to Support Farm Families
Vital Supports for Farm Families
All support we offer to farm families is covered by Embrace FARM. This allows every member of a farming family an opportunity to access support like counselling, therapies like play and art, initial consultations with agri-business professionals, support group meetings and more.
Remembering your Loved Ones
The core of Embrace FARM is to hold space and remember those who have been seriously injured or died suddenly within farm families no matter how recent your loss has been. Fundraisers help us
Day-To-Day Running of Embrace FARM
Your generous funds also go towards the day-to-day operations of the charity, ensuring that farm families are supported how they need. We currently support over 650 farm families across Ireland as a dedicated team of five. Your generous donations and support allow us to continue to help farm families after a loss when they need us most.
