12th Annual Ecumenical Remembrance Service
Join us for Embrace FARM’s 12th Annual Ecumenical Remembrance Service
Date/Time: 29th June 2025 at 2 p.m.
Location: Church of the Most Holy Rosary, Abbeyleix, Co. Laois & livestreamed on our Facebook page.
Embrace FARM is holding our 12th Annual Ecumenical Remembrance Service on June 29th, 2025 where we will come together to remember those who have died within the agricultural community across Ireland over the years and support each other through the grief and loss.
This year, we will reflect on the theme of ‘time passed’ and how grief cannot be defined by the amount of time since losing a loved one. Your journey with grief is your own to walk and cannot be measured or explained, but we can be there for ourselves and others as the grieve. To meet each other as we are and where we are, without judgement. If you or someone you know within a farm family could use support, please visit our How we can help page, or contact us directly by ringing (085) 7709966 or emailing info@embracefarm.com.
The Remembrance Service started in 2014 as a way of bringing those affected by death within farm families and the great agri-community together after Brian and Norma Rohan lost Brian’s father suddenly and tragically in 2013. Embrace FARM has grown around the Remembrance Service to provide greater support to farm families across Ireland, but the Remembrance Service will always be a core pillar of the charity. We would be delighted if you are able to join us in-person at the Church of the Most Holy in Abbeyleix, or if it’s not possible to come on the day, the service will also be livestreamed on our Facebook page as well as being replayed on RTE1 on July 6th at 11a.m.
