Norma Rohan

General Manager, Co-Founder

Norma’s background was in manufacturing quality and supply chain industry before co-founding Embrace FARM with her husband, Brian Rohan. Originally from West Limerick, she and Brian are now settled in Laois where Embrace FARM is run from their home outside Shanahoe. After experiencing a tragic loss of her father-in-law, Norma and her husband Brian founded Embrace FARM.

As general manager, Norma is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of Embrace FARM, and she is currently studying for her degree in Psychotherapy.

Catherine Kenneally

Business Development Manager

Catherine has a background in hospitality and tourism as well as agri, local community, and voluntary sectors. Catherine makes sure that the process within Embrace FARM is warm and wholeheartedly people focused. As her previous experience as a life coach and facilitator, she makes sure that everyone is helped with great love and compassion. Catherine has been part of the Embrace FARM team since 2018 in helping develop the charity and supporting the families it represents. Catherine is currently studying for her Master’s in Agriculture Innovation and Extension with UCD.

Caroline Redmond

Family Liaison Officer

Caroline started with Embrace FARM as a volunteer in 2016, and with over 10 years of experience supporting families who have been affected by loss, now takes on the role of our Family Liaison Officer. She holds a Level 9 certificate in Children and Loss Bereavement Studies from RCSI and the IHF in addition to a Honors Degree in Early Childcare, and is currently studying for her Masters in Loss and Bereavement with IHF and the RCSI. Caroline is a mum to three children and lives in Carlow now, but grew up visiting her grandparents farm near Rathoe.

Karen Kelly

Project Support

Karen joined the team in 2024 and coordinates on-going projects throughout the year that vary from our Peer-to-Peer groups residential weekends and meet ups, as well as creating resources for both the team and outside of that too. Karen originally worked in banking before leaving to raise her family. During this time, she went back to education and received an Honours Degree in Applied Social Studies. In her spare time, she works alongside her husband on their dairy farm.

Lisa Tierney

Communications Support

Lisa joined the team in 2024 where she oversees all internal and external communication within Embrace FARM including the website, social media content, and marketing assets. Before joining our team, Lisa had just moved home to Ireland after living in San Francisco for 5 years where she worked for Microsoft as a marketing & communications coordinator. When she is not working, she is most likely writing, playing golf or sewing.
